Pitta Dosha + Weather Exposed Skin Conditions
Solavedi’s Orchid Infusion Oil uses both orchid petals and leaves.
Orchid petals contain minerals, and the leaves are packed with antioxidants, which are all beneficial to the skin. Blended with Shatavari, we love this facial oil for Pitta and weather depleted skin.

Is this product right for you?
It is, if your skin is:
sensitive and reactive
having allergic outbreaks
red or irritated
roseacea prone
dry
Here are some of the benefits of using this infusion as part of your skincare ritual:
SKIN FRIENDLY COMPOUNDS
Orchids contain bio-mimical mucilages, plant-based jellies that your skin can readily absorb and recognise as food for the deeper cells.
RESTORES ELASTICITY
The saponins in shatavari root help reduce environmental free-radical skin damage that leads to wrinkles, and also helps prevent collagen breakdown.
HUMECTANT
Also, mucilage acts like hyaluronic acid, keeping the topmost layers of your skin hydrated longer.
PENETRATES DEEPLY
Mucilage improves the skin’s ability to absorb the nutrients from other skincare products, making them more effective.
RE-MINERALIZES THE SKIN’S BARRIER
Minerals such as calcium, magnesium and zinc speed healing time, ward off breakouts, and strengthen the skin’s barrier.
POSITIVE BIO ACCUMULATION or VIPAKA
Regular use has a post-application benefit, or, energetic imprint which becomes physical. This oil’s “vipaka” maintains and restores your skin's elasticity.
How to use Solavedi orchid + shatavari Infusion Oil
as a nightly facial massage oil:
Cleanse your face with your facial cleanser and a warm cloth.
Pat your face dry, while leaving it a tad damp.
Pump 10 - 15 (approximately the size of a dime) drops of Orchid Shatavari Infusion oil into your palms and gently massage into your entire face in an upward, circular motion for approximately 3 or 4 minutes.
Also, massage the oil onto the neck in an upwards motion to see the best results.
as a daily facial cleansing oil:
Pre Moisten your face with a warm cloth or a splash of warm water.
Pump 10 - 15 drops (approximately the size of a dime) of Orchid + Shatavari Infusion Oil into cleansed palms, then, rub both palms together, and gently massage the warmed oil in upward and circular strokes, covering your entire face and neck areas.
To remove the oil, there are 2 ways.
You may either use a moistened, warm facecloth and wipe the oil from your skin, or, you can splash your face with warm water a few times, and then towel dry (gently patting your skin instead of pulling on it)
as a facial moisturiser:
Pre Moisten your face with a warm cloth.
Spritz some Toner into cleansed palms
PRO TIP: Use Calendula Witch Hazel Toner (for oily or combination skin)} or 1000 Petals Flora Toner (for dry or weather depleted skin)}
plus 5 - 8 drops of Orchid Shatavari Infusion Oil - then, gently massage this combination into facial skin in upward, circular motions for approximately 3 or 4 minutes.Carollanne’s Pro Skincare Tip: Blending Oil + Water IS how creams and lotions are made.
But when you mix oil and water together directly onto skin, you skip the requirement for both emulsifier as well as preservative, making the most natural and pure face cream possible .
It may be used as a facial massage oil, cleansing oil, pre-moisturizer, moisturizer, and as an addition to your clay mask. Also, this oil adds lustre to dull, dry hair and may be used in scalp massage or applied to dry ends.
PACKAGING NOTE:
This facial oil has a metered pump dispenser, rather than a dropper top.
We consider all aspects of packaging, especially with the precious flower petal lipid compounds, and have made the decision to package this product with a pump dispenser rather than a dropper, based on vital considerations regarding hygiene. Droppers actually expose any perishable oil to air each time the bottle is opened and the dropper stem is removed from the oil, and, further risks contamination to the entire bottle contents if the dropper tip were to come into contact with skin, water, or any other non-sterile surface
HOW TO WORK THE PUMP
The Pump has a smooth overcap.
To access the pump, you must first pull the overcap off.
Pull UP firmly on that overcap.
The pump mechanism is activated by pushing downward on it a few times.
INGREDIENTS: Orchid flower Petals ( orchis mascula) 20%, Shatavari (asparagus racemosus) 20%, triple infused (3 repetitions over low temperatures with intermittent heat bursts to extract lipids) in coconut (cocos nuciferus) oil and sunflower seed (helianthus annus) oil.
Orchid Shatavari Infusion Oil is non ge (genetically engineered), and is gluten free, dairy free, palm oil free + soy free.
All herbs, roots and flowers in Orchid Shatavari Infusion Oil are strictly organic and have been slowly oil extracted rather than solvent extracted.
Orchid Shatavari Infusion Oil is 100% vegan and cruelty free.
Very importantly, all of our facial care products are made with triple infused botanicals in food grade oils rather than essential oils
We also want you to know what's in each product.
You'll never see vague terms like "fragrance" in our ingredient listing or meaningless green washing terms such as “plant based” without describing exactly which plants, and in descending order of their ratios in the preparation.
We sleep very well at night knowing that what we do is worthy of sharing with you, and, now you can too!
Enjoy!
Expected shelf life of Solavedi Organics Orchid Shatavari Infusion Oil is 2 years as long as the product remains anhydrous, or, water-free.
However, once it is crossed with water, the shelf life of any oil/water blend is only 12 - 24 hours. Even refrigerated.
Therefore, it is important to not introduce water into your oil.
